Cougars were out in mass at the Maku'u Farmer's Market this Sunday. Although Cougars are known to be predators, no one was harmed during this event. This was the Kea'au High School football team and coaches cooking up Malasadas for a football team fundraiser.

Coach Mike explained that although the Kea'au High football program has funding from many sources, there is always a need for additional funds for ongoing equipment needs, travel, plus the banquet held at the end of the season for the players and supporters. We all had a whole lot of fun with this malasada feast as so many supporters dropped by the booth to taste a treat, talk story and have a laugh. It was great working with you guys and hope to see you back here at Maku'u Farmer's Market soon for a very good cause. Mahalo. Josprey.
